It crashes every time I try to use the field chart. It used to work before updates. I paid for the app make it work. It is the reason I purchased the scope it due to the app support. Im really a leupold scope purchaser, I may not buy a scope from a camera manufacturer.

Love this app

Awesome app if you are using ammo thats been around for years. Needs an update to include the new modern ammo in the 22 rimfire categories. Also the weather function is broke.

App DOES NOT support the requirements of a highly trained sniper, but thats ok, I just hunt. And Im a pretty average shot at best, so theres that. Bought a new mid-range Nikon scope, zeroed it at 100 yards, and the reticle and app gave me a pretty good idea on the 250 range. Auto auto-weather doesnt work, and never has, as far as I know. Thats ok. Again, I hunt. The windage could be useful, but only if youre hunting very near your local weather station. Never needed temp and pressure adjustment for a 200 yd shot. For a $200 scope and a free app, Im VERY happy! SIDE NOTE: Nikon is an optics company. They are proud of the clarity of their glass, and they should be. VERY clean, very clear.

Could be a good app if they would fix the freezing and crashing issues.

This app doesnt work every time you hit FIRE it freezes up.. needs a update!!

Does everything I need it to do. Just to sight in scopes lasers and sights, good to at least 300 yards. Could care less about the weather, seems to be an afterthought.

Feedback (neutral star score): 1) clearly weather and field options need fixing 2) they advertise it so much on their product pages and website, they need to have a full time staff dedicated to upgrading the app and another staff dedicated to constantly updating the ballistics tables to add new ammunition to their database! 3) TURN OFF THE SOUND. At the range Ill have my hearing protection on and wont hear it (useless), in the field I dont want a loud app making that gunshot sound and spooking any game (actual interference). Seriously, add a sound effects enable/disable to the settings!

Where is the 7.62x39? Spent the money on a nice P300, but there are no ballistic details for this caliber.

Honestly, all I expected was for it to allow me to see wind velocity from the anemometer that came in my range ready pack with the scope. If there is a way to do it in the apple version, its not that easy to find. The app just lets you pick scope ammo and shows you a reticle with distances. Anemometer is useless with this app.

I used this app a lot and it was great up until the last update. I too had the same problems as other reviewers. The current weather, ballistic table and field table no longer worked. Without those things the app is pretty much useless. I hope they fix it soon. It used to be wonderful. I too have downloaded the latest update and found that the weather conditions STILL WONT WORK and the app shuts off the privacy setting. Come on, how hard is it to make it work like it USED TOO!!!

Worked fine until I upgraded to the newest OS and now it wont email.

Cant change altitude without an error box asking if I want to update barometric pressure. No matter what I select, nothing happens and it reverts back to old atmospheric conditions which are no good for my next hunt.

Recent update improved a little, but its still jacked up a bit. Bugs... 1. Wont load atmospheric conditions. Fixed except doesnt load current elevation. 2. Doesnt save atmospheric conditions when you enter them manually. Sort of fixed, but it will ask you if you want to set barometric pressure for given altitude when you hit apply, doesnt change the pressure value regardless of if you select yes or no. 3. Crashes when generating field chart. Not fixed, still crashes. 4. Doesnt save wind settings when manually entered. Fixed 5. Wont let you email ballistic tables. Not fixed I give it two stars because they improved it slightly with this update. Would give it 5 if they get it to work like it used to.

This gets two stars because it applies ranges to the nikon reticles at various magnifications. I like that concept. Unfortunately this is a useless app until they fix the busted system for entering your altitude into the calculator. Also, it would be nice to be able to save a few profiles for ammos/elevations that I use.

Weather works and altitude isnt really needed as pressure is what is important. Field Chart crashes app. Nikon is getting closer!!

I just updated the atmospheric condition "fix". No change, the entire atmospheric condition feature is not even there anymore. This app was fully functional on my iPhone 4s for a long time. I paid the $5, now I just feel ripped off. NIKON, fire your app developer!!!! That would be "spot on".

Still get the error message when trying to set altitude. Does not save manual wind or other conditions. WHY DOES THE APP NEED ACCESS TO MY LOCATION EVEN WHEN I AM NOT USING THE APP!!!

After all the hype the freaking thing does not work!!! There is no good customer service or support, junk. To bad I really like my scope, but Nikon CS is worthless!
