I purchased my M308 just to just the Spot On app they advertised to heavily. Was working great, but now it will not work! Time to sell it and go with Vortex. Nikon should have fixed this by now. It has been months!!

App crashes anytime I try to open the field chart. Fix it please!!!
Literally JUST downloaded the app on my iPad first then my iPhone and it has crashed every time Ive tried to use it on either. Seems like an interesting app but please fix the crashes.
This app works great, the only recommendation I have for Nikon is to add a save option where where you can store specific caliber/scope/ammunition options. I currently have over five different BDC scopes on different firearms. It would be very nice to scroll through saved information and possibly edit information in those files as well. All in all, I love the app and recommend Nikon scopes and the app to anyone I hunt with.
Back to vortex scopes for me!! Crashes nonstop!!
App will crash to home screen every time I change ammo load. Sometimes it saves the ammo upon crashing and I can use it after reopening.
Should be a way to opt out of the gun redneck gun shot every time you do a calculation. Also a way to save different setting for different ammo.
I have waiting been for a update over a year.......nothing! But your selling your scopes and saying how wonderful spoton is, your deceiving buyers .......lawsuit......
Ive had this app for awhile. Its worked great until now. I entered all my ballistic info and sliding the magnification didnt change my distance. It stayed stuck on the full magnification of my scope. I deleted app and reloaded it, didnt change a thing.
Read the poor reviews and downloaded anyway. Started loading my ballistic info and scope and the app crashed when I selected my ammo. The online version is great, I thought it would be nice to have it handy on my iPad and iPhone. So much for that idea! Removed the app. Hopefully Nikon will have this fixed. Its a great idea.
Big fan, excellent concept, one of reasons I bought a Nikon scope. BUT more often then not it crashes! It has issues when teamed with iPad!
This app is good, when it works... It crashes pretty much every time I use it.
App is very buggy and crashes a lot while doing various things. Wish a feature would be added to set a dot on the reticle for the distance you specify when you hit fire. istrelok app does a very good job with this. I bought a very expensive scope that advertised this app on the box. It better work.
Crashes every time you apply new cartridge or caliber. Does not include newest bullets or cartridges (Hornady ELD-X and ELD-M). Can not apply atmospheric conditions, something to do with barometric pressure question never being satisfied.
I loved this app. It worked great with both of my Nikon BDC scopes but now, with the iPhone 6, things just wont work right. You cant adjust the zoom, and you cant load atmospheric conditions. Of course you can still use it as long as youre not shooting beyond 200-300 yards but who needs an app for shots like that. Nikon please fix these issues. This app is why I bought a second Nikon scope to begin with. If they fix these issues, I would definitely recommend not only the app but any Nikon scope supported within it. Without the app Nikon scopes are just another scope.
I have three Nikon BDC scopes on three different rifles and currently must reconfigure Spot On completely every time I use a different rifle. This is a significant limitation on the usefulness of both the scope and rifle. Its also tedious and annoying. As a result, Ive found it to be better to use a paper DOPE book. This app is in serious need of the ability to save and recall multiple rifle/ammunition configurations.
There is no entries for 7.62 Russian. When I select a different size, the app randomly crashes. Useless.
For years, literally Ive waited for yall to fix this app to no avail. Im losing hope. Specifically the atmospheric conditions dont update by location, nor does it save the manually updated info. Might not seem like a big deal but when Im shooting at distance the atmospheric conditions really matter. I can do them myself I guess, but it would sure be great if this worked!!! Nice on the taking 4 times to get the review to post as well....
I have tried different ammo to add to get ballistic data and it keeps crashing. Looks like Nikon gave up on there app.
